Founded in Brooklyn in August 1985, CACCI has grown from ten members into a statewide chamber serving the Caribbean diaspora across the New York Tri-State region.
Dr. Roy A. Hastick Sr. founded the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce & Industry in August 1985 with ten members and a conviction that Caribbean-American entrepreneurs deserved an organised voice in New York's economy.
Four decades on, CACCI has convened more than 600 business-development seminars, hosted Heads of State and the CARICOM Secretary General, and led trade missions spanning health, investment, and export sectors. Its headquarters stands on Dr. Roy A. Hastick Sr. Way, at the corner of Flatbush and Caton Avenues in Brooklyn — a street co-named in the founder's honour.

CACCI is governed by a volunteer board drawn from business, health, education, finance and civic life across the Caribbean diaspora.
